I'm not sure what to do for the centerpieces this a fairytale princess/prince theme wedding.... I've been shown the horse and carriage candle holders. I don't really like them. It is very traditional in my family that the centerpieces be something that at the end one lucky guest at each table usually walks away with. I want it to being something they can cherish that makes them rememeber our wedding. Even ideas for floral arrangements are welcome! thanks!!
Centerpiece ideas? Pink/Yellow/Blue colors? help?
I hope I can help here,

Reply:I like Mrs. S idea above. i would want ot take that home.
Reply:One idea I saw on here for a cinderella theme wedding was to use ceramic pumpkins. The girl painted them and then she sprayed them with glitter spray. Then you could use glitter, votives, etc around this. I thought that was a unique idea.
Reply:How about a nice bowl with floating candles in those same colors? It'll make the room look pretty when all the lights are off except for the candles. Or you can use white candles and use food dye to change the color of the water in the bowl. :)
EDIT - Pastel colored vases with white roses or lillies?
Reply:I like the ceramic pumpkin idea. For a more formal look, you could try to find a crystal or porcelain pumpkin vase, and have your pastel floral arrangements inside. A dozen pastel colored roses would look good. Accent with candles.
Reply:hmmm, little sand castles.....? Pretty paper covered storage boxes filled with silk flowers? How about an actual book of fairy tales with a pretty cover.. .you could drape it with a string of silk flowers.
Reply:Well, I am not sure how many tables you are planning to have, but what if you did each of them after different fairytales?
Maybe you could do a white pumpkin centerpiece? I am sure there are many ways to dress it up.

Reply:What about a crystal goblet, with flowers and ivy spilling out over the edge? (somehow I always think about ivy when i think of medieval times). You could also have 1 tealight on the table to help the crystal shimmer.
Reply:what about a glass slipper??
