Feather centerpieces?
I think they'll work great, IF you have a venue that is big and showy like the photo. You'll need really tall vases like they've used so your guests can see each other through all the feathers. Note that these arrangements are at least 4 feet tall and are probably stabilized somehow to prevent them from falling over.

IMO, part of what makes them look so good is that they "glow" - the burgundy might not have the same effect. They've also managed to light the vases from below. Note that these arrangements are at least 4 feet tall and are probably stabilized somehow to prevent them from falling over.

I would get the supplies to make one of these and test it at night to see if you like it.
Reply:Those are beautiful! Just make sure they're tall enough that people aren't trying to look around them all night.
Reply:Love them!!!!

I vote for all cream (feathers and vases). Use the burgundy in the table overlays and accents just like the picture.

Congrats!
Reply:Love them, they are very elegant, keep them cream coloured.
Reply:I love how they look like they are glowing. I would do all cream colored and have the table settings be burgundy.
Reply:I'd be afraid that these would be knocked over every 15 seconds.
Reply:It's your wedding - so long as your future husband isn't completely opposed to them, you ought to do whatever would make you happy. They'll certainly make things more interesting, anyway.

As far as color goes, personally I'd recommend either all cream or (I'm assuming the color is in regards to the feathers) all cream except for the bottom ring of feathers, in burgundy, which would create flower-esque effect...
Reply:I personally dont like them at all. But if you would like them, atleast make sure they are not going to fall on your guests.
Reply:I really like them, I would probably go with eitehr a burgandy vase and cream feathers, or vice versa and a cream vase and burgandy feathers, or use a mix of feathers and a neutral vase like black.
Reply:Those are gorgeous. The colors won't even matter they are so beautiful. Depends on the number of tables. Some could be burgundy or just cream and a few mix. Congrats and Good Luck!!
