Wedding centerpiece ideas??

I want to do a floral centerpiece, but have no idea how to arrange it or how to design it. My colors are yellow, sage green, and bright peach, but they aren't really important, I just mostly need help with the concept of the centerpiece. I want something simple, yet classy. I don't like things that look too busy, sparkley, or "fluffy"? My wedding reception will take place outside at night under a white tent. Any ideas or pictures would definetly be appreciated!!! Thanks everyone!!

Wedding centerpiece ideas??
I think candles are a necessity in a tent at night - so romantic! But I think votives or tea lights would be better than tapers

I like this one because you could also do small bunches of roses or other flowers, alternating peach and yellow and decorated with greens.

This would be really easy to do:

You could do yellow roses tied with a peach ribbon and peach roses tied with yellow ribbons alternated on the tables

Calla lilies would come in your colors, or close to, and they'd work

These are cute - I've never seen them before! You can light up your centerpieces

You could use yellow and peach table cloths and / or napkins, and white flowers and candles.

In addition to the centerpieces, I like the idea of using paper lanterns: http://www.terhuneorchards.com/images/we...

If you can't find them in your colors, you could always spraypaint them.
Reply:I would go buy some big glass candle holders that kinda look like a little round fish tank get some cute floating candles fill the bowls with water put the candles in there and put flowers around the edge on the bottom. I done it at mine and everyone loved them.

or this one if you can afford it - http://www.floralren.com/images/ACFC9E.j... - I like the addition of the apples %26amp; candle

or the peach one 1/2 way down this page with calla lillies %26amp; candles - http://www.churchillflowers.com/centerpi...
Reply:yellow and peach roses in a circular arrangement, set in a shallow glass vase, would be lovely...
Reply:If you are doing it yourself, go to Micheal's or another craft store and they will help you pick out all the flowers and help arrange it with you. they have everything.
Reply:Go to Michael's or Tall Mouse and talk to the person there who designs centerpieces. She/he can guide you. Just tell them what you like, and you will be amazed at what they can come up with. I have one suggestion. This looks really pretty at night. Get the tablecloths that go all the way down to the floor. Put a lantern/flashlight type thing underneath. You can use different colors or just all white. Good luck, hope this helps.
Reply:I am making my own because budget is tight.HEB,if you have one where you live or Dollar Stores have lots of silk flowers to choose from.Well HEB was cheaper for me.Though I only used white open roses (you need them opened because that take up more space and you use less)for $1 a bunch %26amp; a floral foam or half of a 3" or 4" foam ball (which are about $1 a piece too)%26amp; just cut all the stems the sam size %26amp; stuck them all around the foam ball %26amp; made flower balls. They look elegant %26amp; you only spend between $4 %26amp; $5 on them, depending on how well you arrange the flowers.Do not over stuff.I start at the bottom %26amp; just go all around till you get to the top leaving about an inch space between each rose,if you put too many they will pop off.Along side with that I am going to put votive cups wraped with small tull bow %26amp; burgandy ribbon(my color) and white pebbles inside (about 2" filled-which you can get for $2 a bag) %26amp; since at my church we are not allowed to light any sort of fire,I bout the battery operated tea lights and stuffed it in the pebbles where only the flickering light would show.
Reply:Yellow- Daffodils, daisies, roses, or others being a med sized flower, the focal point of the centerpiece

Sage green- find leaves that are close to the colors you are using

Peach- tinted baby's breath or smaller flowers to use for accents

Three or four tea lights in a ring around the centerpiece in crystal holders
